RWJF Program Seeking Applications for Community-Based Health Grants

The Local Initiative Funding Partners (LIFP) program, sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is
seeking applications for community-based health projects.

The LIFP will provide up to 18 matching grants ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 for its 2006 grant cycle. Applicants should present innovative community projects aimed at improving health and health care for populations in need. Existing programs are not eligible for this grant, with the exception of those undergoing extensive expansion.

Private, family, and community foundations interested in becoming a funding partner may apply for this grant; applicants must be committed to matching funds throughout the funding process. Those interested in applying are strongly suggested to schedule a conference call with the LIFP. Deadline for Stage I of the application process is
June 30.
