NIMH Calls for Abstracts to Present at Conference on Mental Health Services Research
The
National Institute of Mental Health recently posted a call for abstracts to present at its upcoming conference,
Mental Health Services Research (MHSR) 2005: Broadening the Scope of Scientific Investigation. To be held July 18-19 in Bethesda, MD, the conference is the eighteenth annual MHSR conference coordinated by NIMH.

This year's MHSR conference will focus on the potential for mental health services research methodologies and findings to impact other fields of study. Specifically, the conference will highlight:
- Innovative models and methods for mental health services research.
- Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research team approaches.
- Public / Academic mental health services research partnerships.
- Efforts to improve mental health consumer community functioning across the lifespan.
- Capacity-building efforts promoting research infrastructure in community settings.
Abstracts may be submitted no later than
April 18, 2005.
