National Commission on Correctional Health Care to hold conference in Las Vegas, July 11-12

The National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), in partnership with the Academy of Correctional Health Professionals and the American Psychological Association, will hold its first national conference on mental health in corrections in Las Vegas, NV on July 11-12. The conference will address a range of issues relating to
mental health treatment in correctional facilities, including best practices in substance abuse treatment, suicide prevention, psychiatric rehabilitation, medication management and staffing.
