Dear Colleague:
The Re-Entry Policy Council (RPC) is pleased to announce the release of its final Report, a comprehensive set of bipartisan, consensus-based recommendations for policymakers and professionals interested in improving the likelihood that adults released from prison or jail will avoid crime and become productive and healthy members of families and communities. The RPC is comprised of nearly 100 leading policymakers and practitioners representing a broad spectrum of systems. The 650-page Report of the Re-Entry Policy Council addresses re-entry issues related to public safety, health, housing, employment, children and families, victims, and more. It is available for viewing, order, and download (in whole or in part) at www.reentrypolicy.org, where you can also find contact information for CSG or partner organization staff.
Many of you have provided essential information, insight, and contributions over the three years that this Report was developed. We thank you, and we look forward to hearing your comments and questions as we engage in ongoing dialogue through our website and in other forums.
Sincerely,
The Re-Entry Policy Council
