Reminder: Using the Consensus Project’s Local Programs Database

The Consensus Project reminds readers to visit the newest version of the Local Programs Database (LPD). This online database catalogues profiles of mental health courts, specialized law enforcement programs, and other local and state-based mental health/criminal justice programs throughout the country. The new LPD features many improvements that make it one of the strongest information-sharing tools in the field of criminal justice/mental health.

For those readers who run local or state-based programs designed to help individuals with mental illnesses who are involved in the criminal justice system, please take a moment to review the updated database and either input or update your information.

What’s New?

  • User-managed/user-submitted content: Users can upload documents and media directly to the Consensus Project website and post them to their profile to share with the field.
  • Updated mental health court and law enforcement surveys: The new surveys capture more of the information professionals in the field have identified as important.

What’s to Come?

  • More surveys: The Justice Center is in the process of developing more surveys to capture the multitude of criminal justice/mental health collaborative programs in the field.
  • The Justice Center is always looking for ways to expand and improve its web-based tools and always welcomes suggestions from the field!

Why Sign Up?
