Audio and Slides from Webinar Now Available: Juvenile Mental Health Screening and Assessment in Juvenile Justice: How to Do It by Dr. Thomas Grisso

The webinar, held on June 30th, described the purpose, process, and implementation of mental health screening for youth entering juvenile justice settings. The presentation included a description of behavioral health problems among youth and their prevalence among those entering juvenile justice programs, and explained the importance of mental health screening for juvenile justice programs.

JUSTICE AND MENTAL HEALTH COLLABORATION PROGRAM
The Council of State Governments Justice Center provides technical assistance to the Bureau of Justice Assistance Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program grantees, who are planning, implementing, or expanding collaborative programs that improve responses to people with mental illnesses involved with the criminal justice system.
